Our cabin has a beautiful modern design with vaulted ceilings, lots of windows and rustic mountain charm. Very private yet close to everything. It sits on a mountain ridge in the trees with relaxing peekaboo mountain views! Our cabin is at the end of a paved road. No winding dirt roads to get to it! 5 minutes drive to Cherokee, 10 minutes to Bryson City and the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad.
Good to know
Internet/TV: Bring your passwords! The smart TV can stream your favorite channels. Note: we are in the mountains and internet service is not as reliable or speedy as in a major city. We have no control over the internet provider. Fire Pit: The fire pit is great for roasting marshmallows and telling campfire stories. IMPORTANT: Always extinguish fire completely before leaving the fire pit so that you do not accidentally start a forest fire.
Other Details to Note
PETS: Please never allow your pet on any furniture or beds. Please take them with you when you leave the cabin or they must be crated. There is a spare one in the basement if you forgot yours. Also, please clean up after your pooch both in the cabin, the crate and the property. Undeclared pets or damage may result in forfeiture of deposit. Sheets and towels provided. Recommend bringing your own pillows. There are some pillows in the cabin for your use if you forget your personal pillow to insure your comfort. Gas log fireplace: NEVER TOUCH OR MOVE logs in the gas fireplace. You cannot cook ANYTHING in the gas fireplace.
